Hey all, sorry i have jumped again. stv finally convinced me (read this to mean “Hit me in head with the keyboard and told me what was going to happen”) to relocate to my own domain space.

I (and don’t ask me how this happened) managed to get the theme tune of the Bucky O’Hare stuck in my head this morning. It is still kinda floating around in there.

Something along the same vein, i went couch hunting at Willow Bridge the other day and stepped into the Look&Listen there for a quick look around (it’s a nice big one) and they had the complete box set of ThunderCats, sadly it was 1700 shells and i just cannot bring myself to pay that at this point in my account depleted life for a trip down nostalgia lane…

* Okay I would still watch it today if it was one.

Hell explained by Chemistry Student @ University of Washington (SEATTLE)

The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington
chemistry mid-term.

The answer by one student was so “profound” that the professor shared it
with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have

the pleasure of enjoying it as well:

Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic
(absorbs heat)?

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle’s Law (gas
cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant.

One student, however, wrote the following:

First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we
need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at
which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once asoul
gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for
how many souls are entering Hell,let’s look at the different religions
that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you
are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell.

Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not
belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to
Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of
souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of
change of the volume in Hell because Boyle’s Law states that in order for
the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume ofHell
has to expand proportionately as souls are added.

This gives two possibilities:

1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls
enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until
all Hell breaks loose.

2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in
Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.

So which is it?

If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year
that, “It will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you,” and take
into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number two
must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already
frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen
over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and istherefore,
extinct……leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a
divine being which explains why, last night, Teresa kept shouting “Oh my
God.”

The sunrise was very pretty this morning, sadly i got to see it on the way to work.  One should not have to see the sunrise on the way to work in a Cape Town summer…

On the flip side it means that the office is empty and the phones aren’t ringing.  U2, Offspring, Good Charlotte and Evanesence should always be played at full tilt.

Soon the photo saga that is Franschhoek will continue.

I must first set the scene so to speak about how i managed to find this site. Otherwise there (still probably going to be) will be comments of dubious nature. Anyway…..

As a l33t cad monkey i have lots of shortcuts set up to speed things up. One of which is quicksave, is use SA to shorten this an when i am thinking or just looking at something on a drawing i tend to repeatedly hit sa enter. It’s a habit so that i can be sure the drawing is saved. However i do this else where to Excel, Word, Google all over. Of course it has other effects here. Google it the one we want to concentrate on here.

So i managed to hit sa in the search bar and send it on its merry way and at the top of the list is www.sa.org – Sexaholics Anonymous. I couldn’t resist so i took a look and it is a genuine site. Pretty much like AA, they have even got permission to use the 12 step system. Anyway to my point which i will use extracts from there site to make.

“SA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes.” This is a line from their front page describing what they are all about.

These are a few of the 12 steps i have left out the other ones, most of which make sense. Basically take stock of your lif, see the proble, fix the problem (with help as most of us need sometime during our lives) and then be nice to other people. But these ones seem a bit in contrast to their credo. I mean i am pretty sure that religion falls into quite a few of the above mentioned categories.

Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.

Is it just me or is the music from the Blood elf starting area ripped straight from the LOTR soundtracks ??

Does anyone know if water in say a pond which is still evaporates faster or slower than water that is flowing i.e a river?
